Our tea plantations are located in the fertile volcanic highlands of West Java and Central Java, regions renowned for their rich biodiversity and natural fertility. Here, the tea is grown without synthetic fertilizers or harmful pesticides — a reflection of our dedication to clean, organic cultivation.
Every leaf is handpicked at peak freshness and processed within hours using low-temperature steaming and drying. This method preserves the tea’s vibrant color, natural aroma, and antioxidant properties, ensuring that every cup of Ninetea green tea is as pure as nature intended.

Our Journey
2015
The Beginning of a Vision
It all started in 2015, when a small group of passionate farmers and entrepreneurs in West Java shared a single dream — to introduce Indonesian green tea to the world. With a modest plantation and a deep respect for nature, they began cultivating tea leaves using traditional methods passed down through generations.
2018
Building the Foundation
By 2018, Ninetea had expanded its tea gardens and started implementing sustainable farming practices — eliminating the use of chemical pesticides and synthetic fertilizers. This year also marked the establishment of our first processing facility, equipped with small-scale steaming and drying systems to preserve freshness and natural antioxidants in every leaf.
2020
From Local Brand to Export Readiness
In 2020, Ninetea achieved a major milestone: we transitioned from serving local markets to preparing for international export. Our team standardized quality control systems and aligned production with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and international food safety standards, paving the way for global recognition.
